a continuation of the 'vivid unknown' series :)
i am pasting the note from the first photo of this series for your ease :)
on my way back from Karachi to Quetta, i stopped at a small restaurant for lunch... the flood had destroyed the bridge and i was left with no choice other than to stay for lunch :)
i took out the camera and walked inside, the wooden table's texture appealed to me and so did the position of the plates and the shreds of tomatoes and onion :)
this is how i framed it, i was using iso 800 and this is the original composition :) no crop no fancy stuff :)
i tried a black and white version, but upon tweaking the colors and contrast, ended up liking this one more :) an aperture of 2.8 was used for this shot to keep the table and its contents in focus while throwing the floor out of focus :)
though the restaurant looked messy, the food they served was very good and the hospitality they showed, was amazing :)
i drove back to karachi after failing to pass through the ravine... the water current was too strong...
thanks for viewing :)
