i was having a cup of tea with my friend Jack (his real name is Rizwan Ali, i have named him Jack after the character of Jack Walsh, pleayed by Robert De Niro in one of my favorite movies 'midnight run')

i noticed one of the three kittens sitting in the window and rushed to get the camera, with the Big Boy lens on it :) shot at ISO 400, at 200mm focal length to make sure i get the details right :)

this is almost the original composition with some fancy stuff like cropping, but not excessive, some contrast adjustments and a sepia like tone :)

i only wish there was a bit of catchlight in the kitty's eyes... looks somewhat blind now... :(

thanks for viewing :) let's see what you think :)

Hi Muhammad,

here I see a lot of nice details which make special this cat-shot, which I usually dont like at all.
I love the fan behind the cat, and the different kind of textures on the wood the net and the old panel beside.
I like also the composition.

I like! A great capture, and no, the lack of catchlights in its eyes doesn't bother me. Nice pose on the cat's part, and good placement in the frame on your part, as cat photos go this is one with panache and class.
Well done

Hi Muhammad. Great textures and contrasts. The variety of each really make this shot fantastic and ofcourse the b&w gives it that extra punch. The lack of catchlights goes un-noticed. Well seen.

Great composition. I like the expression and pose of the cat. The sepia works fine also. Good job.
