Here's an old shot of mine from last year's vacation with my friends up north in Zambales.
Took this with an S5 IS on manual mode, then PP'd the picture with - of all things - MS Photo Editor. Just general edits with contrast and the blues. |

Hi Jo
I like what you've done with the colour treatment of this shot, it certainly makes the girl stand out against the blue of the water.
Compositionally I think it fall short in a couple of places - her placement, so central in the frame with the negative space 'behind' her (i.e. on the right) takes away a lot of the photo's strength.
And the tilted horizon really doesn't feel right.
If you had aimed your camera out to sea more, with the girl on the right of the frame, you would get a much stronger comp.
I would love to try a WS of this if you would allow the option, a b&w recomposed in portrait orientation and to me it really brings out the magic in your photo!
