[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here is another rusty shot.

I did two separate treatments here, one on the rusty plate, and the other for the rest of the image. first i increased saturation, then I used Levels to adjust the contrast to bring out the color of the rust. For the rest of the imaged I just adjusted the contrast using Levels.

I just learned this cool trick of changing the color of the rust to make it look like molds. Since I already have the rusty plateiIsolated by masking it, it's as easy as increasing hue by 70, decreasing Lightness by 20 and decreasing saturation by 30 in Hue/Saturation. Please look at the posted workshop for the results. Which one do you prefer?

grea DOF

thanks for sharing

Hi lemuel, I like the texture you got on the tree, and the way you brought out the rust on barangay plate. I find however the barb wires and the plants on the right a bit distracting My personal preference would be to cropped the out. Cheers Bay Luis

Hi Lemuel
Excellent shot - composition, colour, DOF are all fantastic, your saturation treatment worked well. I'm not sure if the plate itself is supposed to be slightly unsharp, but I'm guessing that it is.
BTW you posted a self-portrait but now it's gone?

great motiv and great dof

thanks for sharing lemuel.

Good use of a shallow dof, although the rusty sign is a little oof. Wonderful colour & lighting. Tfs!

Hi Lemuel,
Very nice PP work to create this beautiful photo, I like the colors and the DOF to put all emphasis on that plate. very well done.
Luc

Hi Lemuel,
Well done on composition!
I like the lines and the textures here, the old sign combined with the barbed wire give a sort of unreal atmosphere...
Greetings,
Pablo -

Crisp and sharp. Well captured.

Great color. I like it.
