[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Philippines biggest yearly Festival is Sinulog, every January - the annual local Sinulog Festival in Lapu Lapu City is celebrated soon afterward, in February - it's a celebration of Philippine heritage & culture.

I didn't know about Sinulog when I was in Manila during Jan; I'd been planning to fly into Cebu right in the middle of the event which was a BIG mistake, as it seemed a million people had crowded into Cebu City, and I actually couldn't get a taxi to take me anywhere in Cebu City when I got off the plane, as all the streets were closed.

Later in February, I'd left my house to go into town, and heard the drums from the Sinulog Parade rehearsing right on my street - so I ran back inside to get the camera, and was able to catch a few local colors & smiles as they marched by my door....it was great fun.

Great composition, colors and the eyes of the girl watching camera!
The perspective is a right choice I think.

beautiful portrait even if the wide angle make it strange. Good centring, good light, good colours, it's a pity for the smile of the girl (we can't see her teeth) maybe because she was talking or singing ?
