Gu-Tong @ the market

My little friend, Gu Tong - I'd see him every morning for coffee at the little coffee/cigarette stand at the end of my street, and this day while I shopping for sweet mango in my neighborhood, he heard me talking to the vendors & peeked out from behind the tarp that shielded the vendors from the hot sun.
He either has great big smile on his face, or he's looking deadly serious...I almost never see him looking 'casual'
I think he knows he has a hard life...I think he wonders about wishing he could go to school, or what it's like to go to school with the other kids - at least that's what I think.
...He's got dark brown skin; the red-tint in his face was caused by the sun shining through a red tarp hanging to his right, to shield the mango vendors.
He spends his days playing accross the street from the market, in the street with his friends.
...he comes from a poor family & doesn't have much - but he likes playing marbles, jax, and kicking a soccer ball if one of the other kids manages to find one.
He's my little friend, and there's a few more images of him here:

He does look sad, Paul. I hope he's not, really. Boys will be boys, no matter where they live - marbles, soccer balls, etc. :) He's a handsome little guy. Tell him that I said that he has beautiful eyes, if you speak with him! :)
