A shot that really captures so much of the Philippines ... the warmth of her smile - and the always-eager-for-cameras temperament. The light isn't bad, I would've moved her out of the sun so that there were no harsh highlights and shadows on her face - it looks as though your flash went, too, which has actually filled in many of the shadows very well.

This is noce, Karen - a very friendly, happy photo, great smile and lights in her ayes and well composed into the bargain. Might have gone for a slightly tighter crop, to just above the stars and stripes and in from the left slightly. But really a nice shot and I like the lighting here.

I try to imagine how good time spent in 2 months here and from the portrait shots, I can get some inkling of it. You really know how to enjoy holidays!

Basically this portrait has a few points for me to raise
.great smile! nothing beats that!
.light control is not your best here
.some may find the backdrop distracting, to me it is ok
.you may try a straight portrait with just color on BG?
.sharpness is good

Hi Karen,a lovely portrait, she has a beautiful smile.
I can understand what Rew was saying about the bright light, but the sun on her face is not over-exposed so is not detrimental to your shot.
Good eye contact, she looks as if she was enjoying the experience.
