Hello,

fantastique image, quelle couleur, du feu au ciel, avec ce bel arbre dans le décor, la barrière, de toute beauté.

bravo et amitié

Nicou

Hi Karen - lovely colour and a wonderful silhouette with the composition of both the railing and tree.. Exposure wise you've got the light right..

There is an issue of blurriness here, and obviously the culprit is the 1/20sec exposure no doubt handheld.. Have you got a small tripod? - even the mini ones should work with the Rebel I think. It makes such a difference to have the ability to shoot from a stable platform.

Another thing is one of those gorilla thingies that is like a tripod except you can wrap the legs around branches and so on when there's no level platform. Note to self - I need to get one of those too......

Cheers

hi Karen

This is superb.

Very well composed view using the curved palm and railing as silhouette. The color tone of the sky is amazing, including the reflection on water. The blur at 1/20s maybe a point to think about.

Perhaps a bit of sharpening?

tfs, bill

The colors in this are good Karen, the blur is from the 1/20 handheld. Possibly in the future I would suggest setting the camera down, or putting it on a tripod, Going to F11 or higher and going for a longer exposure. Play around with it. I can say the horizon is straight! Something most folks don't worry about!

Hello Karen,
An amazing sunset shot with a nice silhouetted tree!
Colors are majestic and composition is just marvellous!
A pity is a little bit of hand shake owing to a slow shutter speed!
Good job.
Regards.

Oh dear Karen we posted the same fiery image from the same country on the same day. Seeing this reminds me of the fantastic time I had. Thank you. My best regards...Danilo

Lovely composition of the elements to create wonderful shot. Lovely colours and silhouette. TFS
warm regards

It's a beautiful sunset Karen, but ... you didn't use a tripod for this, did you?

Handheld, it suffers from the inevitable camera shake and a lack of sharpness.

As the Filipnos would say - sayang!

hello Karen,

too bad it was blurry.. next time try f/3.2 instead, Karen.. as for the 1/20 is ok or you can adjust it until it was sharp.. that's how i captured my sunset.. :) good try though..

regards, terry

Hi Karen,
A fantastic sunset, with marvellous warm colors, & a superb color contrast...
Best regards!

Hello Karen,

Superb colours in the sky, better than any painter could envisage! And, how lovely the sea looks with the sky's reflection!

The silhouettes are interesting but there is a problem with bluriness.
Last week, like you, I took what looked like a superb sunset, without a tripod and could have kicked myself afterwards for missing such a fine opportunity.
I suppose it is all a learning experience!

Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Hi Karen

A bit blurry but unbelievably beautiful colors. I like the frameing with the shape of things and the well balanced way you saw it. Lovely!

Hi Karen.
Nice shot and great moment presented.
Beautiful colours on the sky.
The only thing is sharpness.

Hi Karen
The composition and colors are fantastic
I have declare that if you've used a tripod or had much more steady hands, you'd captured one of the best shot of sunset.

Hi Karen, pretty stunning colors. And not to belabor the point, its just a little out of focus. But I like it anyway.. Thanks, Dave

Bonjour Karen,

Les couleurs sont en tout cas superbes et les silouhettes de tes sujets sur ce joli fond, ressortent agréablement!!!

WOW! This is a stunning photo Karen.

Well done, this is a beautiful photo, plenty of colour and vigour. Certainly blurred but the silhoette is nonetheless impressive against this awesome sky. Well composed. Tfs.
