I wanted to capture waves and here it is........
This is my niece ABIGAIL at the beach with the waves as her background. Took this image during our family visit to the Philippines last year.

PP done:

Resized,
Adjust brightness, and

Hi Grace.

I like the POV but, IMHO, the picture is too much overexposed : we cannot see any details of the waves and the backwash (not sure about the translation of "ressac" here).

Hi Grace,
Perfect composition and good colors. The haziness is a bit problematic here. Did you have the usual UV-filter? I just want to see how this looks with lesser haze so I send this to WS.

Abigail is pretty and she poses beautifully!

Your lighting conditions were very difficult, shooting in strong sunlight with reflected light on the waves and your niece's face in shadow; good people photography is hard (and I don't think I could do a good beach shot!)

Perhaps with more PP work this photo could be saved, a different crop and composition to de-centre Abigail, and more levels adjustment.

A nice portrait shot and your niece is a lovely girl as a subject, perhaps I can borrow her for a few hours in the rainforest portrait shoot? Looks like OE and the photo size maybe resized to 800pixel.
