I'm gonna be honest Grace (and I don't think the people who have critiqued this already are being honest with you) - the photography here isn't great. As beautiful as your niece may be, and as nicely as she poses, this shot is largely overexposed and the light/shadow on her face is quite severe.
The crop here is better.
Next time, try metering the scene for the brightest part - the waves - and then you can use PP to brighten the areas you want. You should also try to get an angle where there is no sunlight on your niece's face, so we don't have those strong shadows (like the shadow under her nose.)
I know if you took these photos again today you would do a much better job. Keep shooting friend and take my critique as honest encouragement!

I really don't know how to feel about this post.
Desappointement seem to be what first comes to mind.
Specially reading the critiques.
I really believe in fairness. And quite frankly, this post is showing me what I hate the most about this site...
I read...great shot...??? wonderfull details???very well done????colourfull details????
I'll just say I desagree and don't have much respect for those notes...It really don't help learning about what good photography is all about, artistic points of view is surelly not based on accidents. It seem to me that the "only point of honesty" came from Rew. I am also very surprise of your choice of posting this time. Althought well composed, I just can't get over all of thoses major flaws.
Same goes for your previous post of the same serie.
