It was a challenge focusing and metering on these flowers. They exploded with intense colors as the morning sun hit their petals.

Not much PP work, just adjusted contrast and cropped.

Fantastic. The colours are excellent. Are the Marigolds in your own yard? The photo looks a little misty - normally this would be a little distracting, but in this case it works quite well to make it seem as if they are from a magic place - the sort of thing you imagine in Magic Faraway Tree Stories... Great work and thanks for sharing. Did you do any PP to gain this result? I'd love to use it myself sometime if you did. Thanks Again.

Looks like your work paid off. The marigolds are very bright, yet soft and not harsh. I like the reflection of the dew in the foreground; it makes up for the darkness in the background.
