Perched some 8 kilometers from Sagada, Mountain Province, the town of Besao sits majestically in its own pride, a hill overlooking one of the best sunsets in the Cordilleras.
The falls can be reached after a 30 minute leisurely walk from the old Besao, called "Kin-iway" in the local dialect.
Here, the twin falls (the other is Oclong-an) magically awaits its visitors, most of whom rarely go to this part of town. Brett and I didnt go all the way down as we do not know where the pathways would lead so we said..next time.
Normally, tourists go to Sagada...a more popular tourist destination.
Welcome to this side of the Province. |
