[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A shot of my sister's hand, and water from the garden hose. I should've put this up for an entry for a local contest I was supposed to join.

This is one of the very first shots I made with the D40. Used a 50mm wide open, and PP'd some contrast with Photo Editor. **I didn't use NEF then because I didn't have CS3**

Hi Jo - nice idea and I like the colour of the BG. I think a slightly smaller aperture would work a little better to be honest as only a fraction of the hands are in focus and I feel a little more clarity would be useful.

Good effort though... Did you enter this shot?

I like this image. The entire image shows that some thought was put into it. Nice work. I do agree that the hands should be more in sharpness. still a nice idea.
