Great composition, and very gooduse of B/W.
A bit OE on the dog.

Hi Arman,
The POV is quite effective here, you were lucky to capture the boy looking towards the camera. There's some OE on the dog's back, but the B&W conversions helps to disguise it. Good work with the sharpness.

Scott.

Hi Arman,

this shot has a huge potential, and the effect is really powerfull. I love the light on the wooden fence on the right side and the depth along the "corridor" with the environment revealed by some element like the water. I love the boy looking at the camera together with the figure composed by both of them (boy and dog). Somebody wrote that you've been lucky with the boy looking at the camera, I find instead you've been a bit unlucky with the position of them respect to the whole compo.
Unfortunately the boy's eye is in a "shadow zone" created by the composition and light (especially the OE on the dog's back).
A possible solution could have been to crop the upper side of the shot, putting the boy's head in a better position for our eyes, to be more confortable to find it, but IMO you would have spoiled the shot cause the upper purt it is an important element for the meaning of the shot itself.
So, the best would have been to make a PP on the dog removing away the brightness.

congrats

Marco

Hey Arman....Alam mo marami akong daily life pics like this...but I find it difficult to post and process dahil masakit sa puso. The b&w conversions is quite appropriate, meron ngang konting 'oe' sa aso pero astig ang compo, very engaging. Ingats.

This is an awesome POV and composition and the B&W is a fabulous choice in presenting this wonderful image. The picture has a lot of weight to it both photographically and emotionally and I can truly see what this really means and I am greatful to you for your excellent street photography that is shaping up to be truly special. Well done!

Dilshan

Hello Arman

This is a interesting image. Is that a chain link fence on the left?. Nice capture of the boy but having a hard time making out his sirroundings. Still this is what you do best......The day in the life of the Philippines. Have a nice day

Arman,

Very interesting daily life shot, the high contrast B&W
makes the image striking. Metering on the highlights
can eliminate the 'OE'. Well spoted and composed Arman.

i like this image, OE is tolerable. Suitable for mono, well done. You have an eyes for an unusual candid photography.
