Pasig River
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| The Pasig River connects Manila Bay and Laguna de Bay. During the rainy season waters from the Laguna de Bay passes thru this river and goes out to Manila bay, If the water in Manila bay rises it also affects the water in Laguna de Bay. This river in the older time houses many Spanish galleons that goes in and out of the river. Galleons that were used for trading and war. Trading in the river was very active during the 1800s. Now there are still many boats that passes by the river and most of them are tug boats that haul different kinds of cargo, just like what you see in the photo. |
