[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is another shot from the same photoshoot as my last two posts. Bea was tired from a whole day of shooting, but she kept her energy going during her turn in front of the camera. This is one of her more relaxed pose.

For this shot, I had just one flash with a softbox fired from the right of the subject. I wanted a more subdued lighting for this set, which was our last for the day.

Again, I would like to mention that I have these wonderful pictures because of the opportunity given me by Raul (Voyagenation), a very talented friend. He was the one who organized the shoot, waited patiently for me (I was 30 minutes late!), taught me how to use the strobes, and showed the way on how to make beautiful portraits. Cheers!

Thank you all for viewing! Please leave some critiques on what you think of it, or what I may need to improve on.

hi Pierre,

Nice portrait here, good model expression, good lighting, nice colors and good POV, but a little bit corection here from the make up,
maybe you wana made a natural style but maybe its more beautiful if you use PP to retouching for oily faces and skin tones, like in her lips, under eyes and cheek, and i see the OE on her nose, but anyway... thisis a great wonderfull shot.
well done.

hi! pieere this one is awesome... you did a great job... thanks for sharing (",)

Where did you get that beautiful purple shawl she is wearing?! Is it from South Asia perhaps?
Gorgeous colors on it and the lighting is great. :)

The light is very good, so is the sharpness, and so is the composition.
Bea does look a little tired in this shot. Actually a lot tired. But I like the overall feeling of it.
The draped-shawl portrait has very much become a fixture of TrekLens and maybe it has lost some of its impact as a result, but I think your choice of lighting and colours are very good regardless.
Great work!

Regards Aga

your model looks very tired but still pretty. Very professional. Not bad for a first time session on studio lights. Keep it coming.

i think she got the look cause I asked her pose again when she was ready to go
to school. I never got her to emote like that, a master can bring out such a
feeling.

lovely composition.

Hi Pierre,

Wonderful portrait that you've done here. Maybe, and if possible, you give us more information about the light. What kind ? How are they connected.
