And Yet There Was No Weeping

An outtake from a shoot that we had a few months back. Nikki, as the 'club fairy' poses for
a shot with ambient lighting. Opened up the aperture real wide to catch what little light the studio had for ambience. PP'd the contrast and saturation in CS3. |

Hello Jo,
Excellent portrait of this lovely girl. I like the seated position. The light tones and dark background are great.
Best regards,
Tatjana
There is a nice mood to this shot, the model is beautiful and the pose is evocative and sweet.
Lighting could be better, most particularly to separate her hair from the black background - one of the drawbacks of ambient-only.
I also suspect a crop would improve this, to remove some of the negative space from overhead and to sort out that foot on the
left with the cut-off toes. If you cropped it in so that the edge was just left of her shoulder, it would work nicely.
The signature/"dreamlessworld photography" bit at the bottom seems a pointless addition to me, but if it makes you feel more professional then it can't be such a bad thing.

Hi Jo,
A beautiful model and post.
As said the lightning could be better. It can be handled at least partly with some processing of the tones.
I think the text is a bit annoying (it is very clear white...)
Hope you don't mind some WS.

Hi Jo,
Very nice portrait of this beautiful model.
The angle is very pretty, you did not take side.
His is a fine point, otherwise the tone and the background is excellent.
good evening.
