[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
She's my former officemate and good friend, Patricia. She's now attending her board review while waiting for her slot at the airlines - yes, as a stewardess. She was out visiting and waiting for work to finish last night so we can all go out for a drink.

Shot by hand of course and worked with the available lighting which were a few florescent lamps. This was done with a nifty fifty set at f2.8 [I do not open up til 1.4 much now, thanks rew] and with +2.0 EV compensation to get more brightness out of the image, which would otherwise be too dark without the flash.

I was actually trying to see if I can come up with a good image even if the sofa was cut off at the ends. See the lounge is too small to maneuver in - my back was already against the wall.

Your lens did a great job! Sharp, clear shot - I spent an hour yesterday with a patient model, trying to get good shots using my 50mm and learned a lot in the process. Some turned out great, some went straight into the trash ...!

Composition, light, and mood here all work well IMO.

p.s. Yep ... I tried some shots at f/1.8 and almost all of them turned out terrible!
