You've created what looks like a ghostly Victorian picture. Like the effect and the muted colours of the shot.

nice experiment. It like, as mentionned on the previous comment, this "ghostly Victorian picture" mood.
The lower part of the photo could be cut in my opinion.

This a very nice picture, I would like to do something like that, but unfortunatly you did not mention how you did it? Can you help me by explaining in your note how you did it? I tried something but it did not worked very well...
