LOVE this shot Yan! Love the overall grey tones (sky/tarmac) and the one bright spot in the sky just above the tail of the plane, and the yellow lines on the tarmac. Too bad the people-loader-thingy is there on the right .. but that's one of those things you couldn't control, right? Still a great job.

Good greatment of this shot. Well composed, the central alignment of man and plane works beautifully here, nice post work on the sky too.

Hi Yancy, I must say this is a view one doesn't see too often (I can never find this kind of straight on shot...especially with the guide). I like the repetitive pattern of the tarmac and the overall composition as a whole. Interesting sky too.

I like this shot!! Great use of the vertical format and nice pp.. I like the lighting..

PS - the 'paddle' man is called a 'marshaller'..

I do like the composition of this effectively metered scene. The clouds, the positioning of the plane, and the marshaller are the highlights. Regards...

Almost every time I see a picture of an aircraft I yawn because most are from the same PoV just after it takes of or is about to land. But here you have captured a regular occurence and made a great image of it.
