I have the same lens and tried quite a few macro shots with it. Wide open is indeed an unusual choice for macro, and I wonder why you like it this much. Hand-held, probably, and trying to avoid camera shake? This shot isn't it, in my opinion: the depth of field is so extremely narrow at f/2.8 that barely anything is in focus, the light is unfortunate, you have dark shadows and strong highlights, and considerable noise. A nice try, though.

Good macro very sharp sopted focus, the head of spider is very colorful its a rear type spider (coz i've never seen such ever)
