Merry Christmas to everyone!
-----------

This was taken on a hazy day. I metered on the white petals of the flower.

In PP: Cropped, adjusted levels, selective sharpening.

-----------

Dedicated in loving memory to a woman whom my wife and I love, and had the chance to get to know very well, albeit briefly.

To Auntie Agnes:

"I hold it true, whate'er befall;
I feel it when I sorrow most;
'Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all."
In Memoriam, Tennyson

Fantastic capture of the bougainvillea Pete. Metering and composition ought to be commended. Maligayang Pasko. Danilo

Hi Pierre,

Very well captured . . Superb macro shot here . .
I like the composition with the object stands out with the rest in blur . .

Merry Christmas my friend

Hi Pierre,
excellent contrast, image sharpness and general quality.
One reservation I have against it though is I wish the main subject was not too central.
Best regards, Daniel

Sometimes a centred subject works very well, and this is such an occasion, Pierre. Beautiful sharpness and a very good composition; the blurriness of the backdrop makes the flower stand out.
A fine tribute to her.
