Hi
Good capture, Joel. Its a beautifully composed shot.Exposure is pretty good.Thers a nice contrast btwn FG and BG. However , the white rectangular strip at the top left portion of the picture, is a true distraction. By all means it shud have been avoided. Also, its not such a great idea to keep the names/signatures /other writings along with the main subject where the viewer's immediate attention falls.Such things distract the viewer from properly focusing the picture. As a matter of fact, if a photo is good, people will surely see, who the photographer is, evenif its not included in the photo. That is a silent appreciation and reward we get for taking good photos , hehe :D . Now, for this photo, u can reduce the font size a lil and write it towards the bottom right corner, as theres ample negative space there. However if u still insist in writing at the top itself, you can do so at the top right with a reduced font and with adequate transparency . Hope you wont take this critique as personal attack. Having said this, this is beautiful photo anyway :) . Congrats.
