[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
after an eight-hour drive from the puerto princesa, the capital city of palawan, we reached the small and quiet town of el nido. we did not waste our time for our vacation and surveyed the area before sunset. we've seen this rocky shore on low tide... it was a perfect spot.

while waiting for the sunset, my colleague was in the frame. i did not hesitate to take the shot.

i used two nd filters, stacked in front of the lens, camera mounted on tripod. i removed the flares in the photo thru cloning/masking but not the reflection of the lens (on the lower right) since im shooting facing the sun.

have a great day everyone.

Hi Jeff,

Like the wide angle shot and the somewhat over exposed sunset on the left contra the photographer on the left. I.e: beautiful composition!

regards,

Edwin

Stunning view!
Looks like a great place indeed.
POV is superb.
Just one notch - the overexposure on the far left...

Apart from that, I wish to have such nice view in my gallery :)

This view gives a look of The End of The Earth ;-)

Hi Jeff,

The dedication here to stand there in the water. Despite the fact that my tripod is made of carbon fiber, I rarely stand in the water with it. Let it be salt water... :-)
And the composition you got with the photographer in it is great. Thanks to him for standing still for 1/5 of a second. ;-)

Greetings!
Dennis

Hi Jeff,
I've been taking note of the long exposure/small aperture exposures and the effects you get out of them Very clever and give your photos a very moody and smooth feel. Very clever and well done. While this photo isn't as long of an exposure it is a fantastic shot. Great composition, great work my friend!
