[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
doing what a landscape photographer does, we woke up early at 4am to hike the same spot we've been to. waiting for sunrise at bacuit bay, we were able to capture some of the majestic islands, karsts of cadlao, the serenity of the sea and the puffiness of the clouds (in which we are deprived in the mideast..hehe). after a few bursts, there were drizzle. i was going to curse the rain (seawater were already torture to the gears) when it came out...

...a rainbow.

luck was on our side even more when two kids showed up. an impromptu portraiture with a perfect location.

Hi Jeff,
Your El Nido series is fabulous. I keep looking at them - definitely a place to visit next time. The karst and limestone formation are reminscent of those in Thailand and Vietnam, and it should be interesting to study the geological formations of this natural wonders. The kids certainly add flavor to the image. I bet you do miss this type of scene in the middle east. My best regards and ingat! Danilo

Fabulous opportunity to take the shot! The kids are great, but the kids and the scenery AND the rainbow are a fantastic combination! LOVE the wide angle shot here!

Very good composition and the natural light is fantastic. The position of the children in the picture is perfect, everything fits in place. The rainbow is a plus but the composition was enough to deserve the 2 points ! TFS,

Hahaha, I like the 'luck was on our side when two kids showed up'. Why do you see it as luck? I would have liked the landscape without the kids as well hahaha.
They don't look overly happy to be on the photograph. Did oyu have to hassle for a price for a long time? ;-)
