[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is another photo I took while island hopping at Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

Like the other post, I just got lucky with the diffused lighting of the late afternoon sun.

As for post processing, I did a lot of contrast adjustment, dodging and burning, and some sharpening and noise reduction.

Thanks for looking. Any suggestions and critiques are very much welcome.

Hi Timothy,
Great shot where you used the UWA lens perfectly. I really like how the sand takes me into the scenery toward the trees and hut. Details are good, but with such a small aperture you probably lost some details in the distance. Next time use a grad ND filter with these type of photos, it will balance the exposure better. (eg. no OE sky and a better exposed sea)
TFS,
Niek

Hi Timothy, you play very well with light. Great pov on this very nice landscape. Very sharp. Good dof.

Take care, Yan :)

There's a great atmosphere in this shot and I get the feeling of being drawn into the image by the rippling water and the pathway leading to the sandy island - and at the same time I feel the sky is rushing towards me.

Clever shot, well seen and executed.

The water is so clear, what a beautiful island!I like the depth of the photo. The ambience is so peaceful and harmonic.Thank's for sharing.

This is absolutely beautiful Timothy. I love the composition. The house is well placed, right in the thirds and good pov. The colors are likewise very natural. Very well done and TFS.

Hi Timothy, nice looking picture, do you use a polarizing filter ? If not you should, that helps a lot fixing colors and contrasts ... F22 setting was the right one against sun
Good

Hi Timothy! Great shot, but it's REAL important to get the horizon line straight in shots like this! I did a WS for you, hope you like it!
