Its a proud and precious moment but IMO it doesn't work as a photograph. The flash has caused dark shadows behind your nephews head and you can't tell where his hair ends and the shadow starts.
The old BW effect is a bit overcooked.

Hello teton ,
Very nice PP work you got here , the texture are nice you can adjust the opacity by sliding the switch so to lightened the scratch effects also you can down load free texture from CGtexture for your future used....but in principle that is how most of old photo snapshot look like..including frontal fire flash..thus producing some shadows..why did you used a flash? you can used the ambient light of the room with higher aperture , low ISO and slower speed shutter with the used of tripod..Salamat! Ingatz bro! just for a heads up for ethical reason if someone leaves a comment/ critique would it be nice at least give some minimal point to the photographer as a sign of respect?
