[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was among the first thousand frames I shot with my then-new S5 IS. It's actually a little zoomed out, and I was tinkering with the manual settings back then. I was actually just firing frame after frame because there were so many birds. I didn't know I took this image till I reviewed the shots.

Hi Jo,
Having taken a lot off panning shots and knowing how hard it is to get a good one I think you have caught this gull well on the manual settings of your camera. The bird is in a good position and you have placed it in a good spot in the frame. Contrasting colours against the blue sky is great.
Cheers
Bri
