Most of us know Basilan as a land of conflict. A land of Muslim rebels. A land of chaos. But we also know that media is exaggerating and sensationalizing the news to get the highest rating :)

I want to discover a different side of Basilan. The beauty behind that feiry impression. I've heard they have Boracay-like beaches.

Hope I can visit this hidden paradise one day.

This is Coco Island in Basilan. This picture was taken while aboard Superferry on our way to Iloilo.
