[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It is summer here in the Philippines right now and almost everyone I know went or is heading towards the beach. With more than 7000 islands in my country, there sure is a lot of choices for a destination.

This was taken in Boracay last February. Paging my TLP buddies! Time to plan our trip! :D

I adjusted levels and curves, and did some extreme saturation through channel mixer to get this painting-like effect.

I have less time on TL lately so I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the comments and critiques. I hope to be more active in my participation again by next week. :)

i always dream of going back to boracay. i've been there once. but i dont want to go there during peak season, i dont like crowded beaches.

Funny, it is almost raining season here in Puebla, Mexico. I like water in all forms though, so be it the beach or rain I'll enjoy myself. I hope you'll be enjoying your summer, Pierre! About the photo: I think this is a spectacular shot. The colors are so unusual but they fit well together and have created a spectacular view. It does have a painting-like effect, which is a good touch to the photo. A really beautiful shot I think. Congratulations, Pierre!

The dramatic composition of this magnificient moment is nicely captured. Golden hue on the horrizon is interesting along with green water and darker sky. Well done Pierre.
