a shot of mask pendants made of staw and some of shells and materials found locally taken during the Ati-Atihan festival in Kalibo, Philippines.
The festival is considered as one of the wildest if not the most festive of all festivals celebrated as a tribute to the Christ child or Santo Nino. for three days leading to the 3rd Sunday of January the streets are filled with merrymakers who in their colorful costumes would dance and drink to the beat of the drums. |
