Hello Eleazar,an interesting shot of the fungi,I have never seen any like this before.It looks really soft and furry.
The bright green leaves are a good contrast with the brown and white.

this is lichen, your shot is just too close for the lens..draw back to have a better focus then crop or the more expensive route is buy the lens.
