"The Colonization Era"

When we were on our Cebu-Bohol tour we went to Cebu's Basilica. I forgot what the name of the church was but this was very near Magellan's Cross.
After we went to pray, I went outside to find nice subjects to shoot. Then I suddenly found this very beautiful relief art sculpture on the wall near the place where people light candles and pray. I just had to go neear this eventhough there was a chain fence.
This relief art sculpture was all over the wall and it was amazing! It tells the story how the Spaniards colonized Philippines in the past. It also showed the expedition of Miguel Lopez de Legazpi and Fray Andres de Urdaneta, OSA.
So as I saw this, I grabbed my chance to take many shots as I can. So far this is one of the good one from a bunch.
Sharpened, brightness & contrast adjusted and resized. I turned it to B&W because I like it better this way as it gives a sense and a feeling of reminiscing the past history.
I hope it looks okay.

Hi Irene
Yes, you did a good job capturing the relief sculpture, it's clear, sharp, and delivered with good proportions and detail.
I don't know what the original colours were but I suspect b&w was a wise move, it draws attention to shapes and patterns - essential in a relief sculpture - and avoids the distractions of colours.
Nice work
