[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took a shot of this just this morning. I saw this bottle of Tanduay Ice on a pot of our plants. My brother brought 2 bottles of Tanduay Ice at home from his work. He wants some of us to taste the new product of the company where he works. So my father and sister tasted it.

I shot this using the B&W mode color of our camera. I enhanced the color a bit more, sharpened and cropped it using Photo Filtre.

Hi Irene

Great idea. Pretty good in terms of the black and white treatment, too, I must say. Technically your sharpening has worked well, too; the quality of the shot, where it is sharp, is much better than the specs of your camera would suggest!

The problem with this shot - the bottle isn't in focus!

This is a trap with some cameras, in fact it can happen with any camera, including expensive SLRs, where the focus locks onto something more distant than the subject.

Here, we can see that the stone pot in the lower left corner of the frame is crisp and sharp in focus, while the lettering on the bottle is slightly blurred.

In terms of structure, treatment, and subject, I like where you are heading! Keep shooting! In terms of controlling the focus - there are still things to improve.

frankly speaking i could not comprehend the shot may be becouse I lack the vision of an artist. But I am not at all happy with the critique you received.I dont know why people feel shy to comment and share their experiance. No problem you keep trying and i am sure one day you will one of those whom comments matters a lot (Like my friend Rew).Regarding this shot its too cluttered I suppose otherthan the things pointed out by Rew.But its a bold idea of posting B&W.Try to be simple in selection of your subjects.I am posting a Ws you may like that.Good luck
