One of many outriggers, also known as wave-piercers sits ready to sail even on a stormy day at White-beach, Boracay's main beachfront.

The WS shows the larger setting of this 4km long beach of coral sand.

Hi Murray,
The bright blue colouring is a real eye-catcher. Good job with the composition and POV. The horizon looks very straight, a nice flat sky for everything to stand out against. I'm glad you included some people in this scene too, a good clear capture.

TFS,
Scott.

Hello Murray,
An eye-catching, almost graphic representation of a beach scene. I like the minimalism, both in composition and in colour (making the deep blue pop out very strongly).
Unlike Scott (Sharpshooter), when viewing the photo for the first time, I had the impression the horizon was not 100% level. At first, I thought it was optical illusion, due to the blue triangle, but after verification, I think there is a difference of a little more than 1 mm between the left and the right of the horizon. A very minor tilt, that does not alter the quality of your photo.
TFS & kind regards,
Erik

Hello Murray,

The colour of that sail could not have blended better with the overall colours in the shot! It makes a superb focal point!
Nice balance with the point of the sail pointing towards the second focal point, the people.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Murray,
The blue sail and the greyish clouds and sky certainly blend beautifully. White beach looks quieter here compared to my previous visit. Am glad you posted this as opposed to the blue red and white sail with the irritating PAL logo. (Yup I clicked on the WS version also). Well done and best regards.
Danilo

Hi Murray

Good sharpness on the blue sailed yacht, & Boracay is a holiday destination I'm considering in January, provided 'swine flu' isn't out of control by then. (Korean parents are worried that returning foreigners might infect their kids). Tfs!

Hello Murray,
the Cobalt sail and the very clean white sailing vessel and beach are beautiful together here. What I like along with those facts is that the sail's triangular shape is pointing to toward the people that are on the beach.
Very nice work...
Steve
