nice idea behind the photo and the photo itself is done very nicely..

clever use of top-down angle, and the placement of the cigarrete pack..

I like this very much Manny! I like the proper placements of the objects within the frame and your unusual point of view which is necessary to make the placements of the objects effective. For my taste it would be better to clone a little space off the right hand side to lose the left eye area of the girl. It is right now just blackened. Are you standing on a chair here?

This is just brilliant. The way three elements -- the cigarette box, the bowl of food and the girl -- with the focus on her eye -- all reflect each other and comment on each other (in terms of shape, color, tone, and literally through the word "fortunate) is just fantastic. This is one of the best photos of its kind I've seen. And especially because it is an image that is both aesthetically stunning AND socially relevant, as elaborated in your note. Really glad I found this photo. -Hugh

What a great composition! In B&W, it is just a very adequate choice...eye of the girl is powerful... I don't know if it is in a sadly or happy way?
Great eye woth the cogarettes named fortune... what a ironic name...
