[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
"Somebody very dear to you is leaving...
...and if it is for good...
What will you do? How do you feel?
What the world will be to you then?.."

Post processing includes conversion of the whole background into black and white to set a gloomy mood.
Major cropping was being done to place the subject very much off-centered and to eliminate distracting elements.
Cloned out the aircraft number.
My most favorite compositional element here is the broken line that ran diagonally across the frame. Somehow, it gives a strong impression of desolation between the party leaving and the one to be left behind. It seemed like it existed just to put them standing apart.
