His eyes are talking as if saying 'this is yummy' or simply 'thanks mom' or both...
-since it was on a dimly lit eating area, i used ISO400 for more shutter speed.

Yes, Jowel, his eyes really DO speak. Excellent capture of a moment of what could be mundane activity (eating) but is presented as a moment of bonding and love between the child and mother. I would love to see this from a POV where we can see the mother's face more (and where it's not out-of-focus and too bright) to really get the sense of body language between the mother and child. Good use of partial desaturation to make the child and the mother's hand pop out. Lovely light showing the form of the child's face and in his lovely dark eyes. I would crop a little off the left side to decenter the boy to draw the viewer's eye all around. Beautiful shot, TFS!
