I caught this old woman resting and counting her coins with a pair of shaky hands. She spread her dress across her thighs to prevent it from falling all the way down the stairs. She must be a vendor who already sold all her goods. Now she is trying to find out if she has enough for the family dinner.

Very good picture and a sad story. Looks like the Philippines and Mexico aren't so very different. You caught the sadness of a moment with a camera and thereby created a very good picture with a message.
