Day 2 (Marooned in Colibra)

We got the whole Colibra Island (see panorama photo here) to ourselves that day. It was a fine sunny day, no clouds, bright blue sky. Perfect for getting a good tan! :)

Tech
- CPL for the sky
- Minimal levels adjustment

I was kneeling on the sand (out in the water) while taking this. The waves kept splashing on my back and one almost toppled me over. It would have been good bye for my camera :D..

Thanks for viewing! More photos in the workshop

Hi Allan,
Impressive blue sky with the low POV you choose! The people seem very tired as at the end of a long walk.
I am glad that you saved your camera! Bravo! Annie

Hi Allan,

It's a real good day . . lovely blue sky . .
Interesting to know the way you capture it . . you must be in the water . .

Tfs,
TJutjut

Many thanks for your kind words on Another flower .

Heh ... nice work. Not a Rule of Thirds in sight but it works perfectly - excellent saturation and POV, and composition that just feels right.
Great stuff

hi allan, great point of view, great colors and clarity, well done, thanks scott

Beautiful low angle shot, I would have cropped the sky to occupy 1/3 of the photo and have more of sand/sea.. nevertheless, it is a nice capture..
