Hi Freddie,
Impressive 2mp shot, Freddie. Sometimes, the camera was not an issue. It is the subject, and the person who take the shot with creativity and skills. Lovely scene, with the palm tree as an interesting foreground. Nice composition. And I liked the result of your conversion to B & W... the tones are very nice to see.
Regards,
Ramdan

Suprisingly, I like this Black and White version of a tropical paradise. Usually these are best taken in color, but you have done a wonderful job! Nice angle and DOF too! :)

really good shot

Amazing this wonderful shot from a phone. Obviously it is the user that creates the beauty. I have never view a nicer phone shot. The clarity and detail are very impressive. Love the B&W and the composition is perfect. Excellent.

Wanda

I like the result of the experiment, not bad for the iphone, has a 1950's feel about it, great composition.

Thanks

Hi Fred,
Great shot from a 2MP camera phone. Like they said, it is not the camera but the subject that's important. Good composition bro.

Freddie

Hi Fred,
Nice B&W landscape rendition. The coconut created a nice framing of the beach and sea. Horizon is a little titled and you might consider increasing the cloud contrast so it will be more defined. But overall a good composition. Well done! tfs

Renier

Hi Freddie,
This is a good image, even if a DSLR was used. For a mobile phone it is just amazing.
Looks good in black and white, you have achieved a good gradation of black through to white, well done.
One tiny thing, the tide is coming in...horizon a little off.
Cheers,
Pete.

Great shot, Freddie! I notice a bit of horizon tilt, but otherwise this is a delightful scene and composition. The b&w adds a journalistic feel, and a reminder of film camera days before iPhones were even thought of:) Nice work!

hello Fred,
i like tone of this composition,
really a nice management of monochromatic treatment.

greetings sERGIO

Hi Freddie this is a good shot and especially good considering it came from a phone camera. At first I thought I would have like the whole tree in the frame but I'm wondering if that would have left the rest a little empty. Also, to nit pick the horizon is a little bit off...but that's easily fixed. Well done.

Hi Freddie

This worked well in B&W. I like the POV and the composition too.

Very nice Freddie. Excellent B&W conversion. Great composition.

Most pictures that I've seen on this subject , were colored. I like very much your b&w version. The composition is balanced and the framing adds more value to the content. Great job!

Tilt aside Freddie an excellent result using the camera phone. Well composed and converted with good detail and tones. TFS,
David

Absolutely great idea for BW - not to easy to see that kind of picture in monochrome - classic POV and very well exposed:)
