This little guy was not even aware of me watching him. I wonder what he was thinking?

What a crisp, sharp & clean b&w shot, Karen... And very well exposed at that. My only "problem" (what a heavy word) with this is the white stripe on the ground which is running "through the boy's head", so to speak. If you clone that out, it's a perfect shot. And that shouldn't be too much work ;o).

L'attitude de ce garçon est bien figée dans cette photo et un bon choix du B&W.

Hi Karen,
The b&w treatment goes well with the somber mood of this young man. Wonderful clarity and details to this fine image.

Dear Karen,
the most excellent point of this shot is that he is thinking something and does not notice the lens of you near him... perhaps his thought is about his pleasure of playing, never bad things. because he is happy with his bicycle, I did not have a bicycle at his age, and the bicycle enlarges the playing area several times more than only walking...even if it is simple one like this. my childhood was more smple.
thank you,
Akihisa

Yes what was he thinking ? Probably ,as kids go, of a friend to go see or a place to go to or perhaps just daydreaming right there ,lost as he seems in his thought,
cool picture Karen ,nice candid,
bravo, like it,
TFS,
Carol

im not sure if he is in deep thought, Karen.. he knows that you taking his shot so he just look somewhere and smile.. anyway nice shot of this boy in his bicycle.

regards, terry
