Candaba Landscape

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
A repost following some of the suggestions of TL friends. A different cropping is used so that there would be less of the sky. The dirt road and exposed water now leads from a corner of the frame to the horizon. The triangle formed by the sun, Mt. Arayat, and the exposed water is maintained. No PP except USM after resize.
Previous notes:
Another image of Candaba Swamp ... still part of my new lens (courtesy of tracer) field test.
This is about an hour before sundown. I used a Cokin Tobacco GND filter, handheld (including the filter), no tripod. We were cramped in a small bird watching tower.
No ("high-tech") post processing was done except slight tilt adjustment and USM after resize.
I was trying to concentrate on the compositional elements of the photo, like the strip of exposed water leading to the horizon. I also formed a triangle composed of the sun, Mt. Arayat in the background, and that strip of exposed swamp water.
Is it effective?
Thanks for dropping by and have a nice weekend. |

Hola amigo,
bella postal,
color, pov y dof...
excelente trabajo,
saludos Allan.
hi allan, we all compose differenty, (i always follow the composition rules-probably too much!)i probably would of left out the sun (seeing some glare) and horizon a bit higher, still wonderful exposure and colors, pretty good composition and fine details,
