Hello Ollie,

This is for sure full of colors, especialy green and yellow.
Well done,

sabina

Hi Ollie,
This looks like a katydid which belongs to the same order of grasshoppers. Sumptuous colors, bright, and sharp. The positioning on the frame follows the rule of thirds and the blurred background enhances the subject. However, as I scrutinize the image, I notice that the hind legs, usually the most prominent and pronounced of the three pairs, have been amputated as evidenced by the bruising. Ouch!!! I would not intentionally put a helpless insect atop a flower for art's sake.

Hi Ollie

I hope Typhoon Fenshen didn't affect you too badly. I like the green on gold on green color scheme here. A superb macro of the grasshopper atop the flower. Tfs!

Now here's a different story...I find a match in the picture for the yellow frame.
Are you on vacation or something, I mean, how on earth do you find these insects? :)))
Very well done! Great posting, again!
