[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is one of my rare shots. It was taken at 2008 World Pyrolympics which is held yearly in the Philippines. I think for this shot, it’s the China contender.

I actually felt sad that time because, before the event started, it was raining really hard with some lightning. I thought I will not get a nice shot. Luckily, the rain stopped and I got this!

Can't believe nobody has given this any critiques. Stunning shot here. Amazing capture of both the fireworks and the lightning.

Beautiful colors. Well composed with a good exposure.

Hi Tere,

This is one of the most breathtaking shots I have seen on TL, The lightning and fireworks are hard to capture individually but t6o get them this well together is outstanding.

Wow... what an amazing image Tere! I love the fireworks and the lightning! it's very rare that you get to shoot a picture like this at all!
This must be the only picture with both lightning and fireworks in it.

Were you using a trigger to capture the fireworks? Or was it simply excellent luck?

Composition is spot on, good placement of all the elements, although you could have cloned out the elbow/sleeve on the left!

... and luckily you had lightning in the composition..? galing! love the lightning that seems to come out of the explosions! cheers!
