[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a few meters downstream of this falls (Buruwisan Falls) I previously posted.

While some, or maybe most, would probably compose this using portrait orientation because of the vertical line formed by the falls, I opted for an unconventional composition (I think) to get more of the "peripheral elements" in the scene like the rocks and the trees.

Whether I failed or succeeded in conveying the general mood of the place - that I don't sure. But personally I liked it, and this image is currently the wallpaper of my laptop :D.

----
Tech:
- same stuff: tripod plus the use of CPL. The lighting never necessitated that I take out my ND filter. This time I had more time to think through the composition since I don't have to worry about the water spray.

- USM after resize.

Have a nice week ahead and thanks for dropping by!

Heavenly beautiful place, Allan. Agreed for the landscape format since it captures the form and shape of the rock and the silky flowing water - hence created a nice perspective and a kind of lead in to bring viewers eyes deeper towards the waterfall. And I really love seeing the light sneaking onto the earth through the gaps of trees.

Colors... naturally beautiful.

Details and clarity... well, you and your brother are very, very good at managing it - your photos has never failed at this.

This image could also soon be laid down to more screens as a wallpaper. :) It's truly beautiful.

Regards,
Ramdan.

oh, what a beautiful nature you have here Allan.

that fall at the backdrop really looks like a standing column by the effect of a slow shutter speed. everything is well seen and perfectly captured here. well done!

I really love the POV of this one Allan, the elements of near and far flows of water, and a very dramatic sense of movement. Very beautiful saturation and light.
