[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Sunrise in Gaspar Islet, one of the Tres Reyes Islets (3 Kings) found in the west coast of Marinduque Island (Philippines). Went there at 4AM to catch the early rays of the sun (see related story in LANTAW).

- f/10 @10mm, 242 seconds (good thing the wind was not that strong)
- CPL
- 3 stop GND filter (Cokin) to hold back the sky

Marinduque is famous for its Moriones Festival during the Holy Week celebration

wait a minute, my maths isn't that good....242.5s for a shutter exposure. oh, ok, that's about 4 minutes and reasonable enough for a long exposure to smoothen the water like this.

beautifully captured at that long exposure and the aperture is perfect enough for the details. well done.

Very nice Allan - good use of the GND for the sky, and the long exposure gives a great effect on the sea.

Very well composed shot.
Considering the 4 minute exposure there is very little movement in the clouds.
Great effect on the sea.
