BW conversion using channel mixer. (Opted for BW since stormy weather "washed out" the colors I was hoping for. You can see another shot from this POV here)

Exposure Time: 1.3 sec

Hi Allen - a nice scene and again good use of the long exposure and ND filter.. The sky is very dramatic

I do however think that the picture is generally too dark (and I've a very bright monitor) and therefore a little dull.. See the current thread running the forums about the 'zone' system and what use it is in modern digital photography.. Personally I say not much but it does give an idea as to what you can do with the curves, levels, histogram etc.

Regards
David

Hi Allen,
I think this is a stunning image, the water over the rocks is great, the water in the channel is a bit bright but when you have 'white water' its almost impossible to get the exposure 100% right. The B&W conversion adds to the mood of the image - I love these shots
cheers
Jack
