A deep gorge appeared during low tide. Have not seen this in my previous trips since its usually underwater. I positioned my tripod near the sea weed covered edge, with the setting sun on my back and took a couple of shots. (NO I cannot go further to the right, I take risks but everything's calculated)

I used a vertical composition to emphasize the edge of the chasm as well as the incoming waves.

Tech
- f/22 for a slower shutter speed. Didn't have time to fetch my ND8 filter which I left in my bag on the shore.
- GND8 Soft Edge to hold back the sky. Otherwise it would have been blown out.
- CPL to get rid of the glare and show the sea weeds under the water.

Twice I nearly got knocked off by huge waves :D, But I guess, with landscape photography, persistence is the key ;)

Crisp, clear, well-composed seascape. The slower shutter speed really helped capture the feeling of motion in the wave.

Superbe cette luminosité renvoyée par la roche.
J'aime bien ce low POV qui te permet de jouer avec les vagues, cela apporte un dynamisme très appréciable.
