I were fascinated really on framing. Sometimes looking into what you see here in treklens you would get the feeling of wanting to create frames on your shots that would present an interesting photo. This was flower candy put on a colander. Hope this frame I did was a good start for making subjects leap out of frame. I try figuring out photoshop attributes and this is what I got.
What I did – I open my shot – copy a layer – use magic wand on the main flower – recreate a layer- use the magic marquee for the box – rearrange the palette-put signature- flatten the image-
Thanks for viewing

Hi Cris,
Very creative Cris, vibrant colors and sharp details.
Nice framing and well composed.
Cheers,
Ramon
This shot shows some real flair in your work, and some great experimentation. The "out of frame" technique is a great device to create an eyecatching shot, as you have here.
My tip for selecting objects prior to this kind of work - use the magic wand, then use the magnetic lassoo to tidy up the edges (for example, at the very bottom of the frame there is a messy edge to the green flower, you can see some brown against the black frame.)
Remember with the magnetic lassoo you can add to the selection, and subtract from the selection, depending on the keys you choose.
After you are happy that the selection is near enough perfect, use the 'feather' option (right click) at 1 or 2 pixels. This will soften the edge just a little to make it look more natural.
Colourful subject and a great idea.

Hi cris
Good use of three primary colours of the sweets, & a superb shallow dof. Excellent pp work to get the fg extending beyond the frame. Have a great weekend!
